Best Blues / R&B 2012 Jack Richardson Music Award winners, 2012 Memphis International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalists and 2011 London Free Press Local Album of the Year winners Robbie Antone’s Blues Machine gets its sound from the many influences of lead singer and harmonica ace Robbie Antone. Robbie Antone “Wolf Clan,” hails from the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, near London, Ontario.
Guitarist Richard Joyce from Toronto, Ontario puts down a strong rhythm and superior quality tone, adding to the Blues Machine’s amazing sound. The Blues Machine’s strong rhythm section consists of Juno Award winning drummer, Trinidad native, Hayden Vialva, a long time friend and ally of Antone’s and Rob Valente from London, Ontario, who’s impressive bass playing rounds off the smooth and soulful music of Robbie Antone’s Blues Machine. The Blues Machine’s music is best described as Blues/Rock with influences of Soul and R&B. Robbie Antone’s Blues Machine delivers a diverse blend of musical styles at their live shows, creating a positive energy that embraces the crowd.
