Developing Health and Wellness Plans: Grounded in Community Values
Based on the recently launched Health and Wellness Planning: A Guide for First Nations, this full day hands-on workshop will guide you through the stages of developing a health and wellness plan for your organization or community.

The Health and Wellness Planning Guide provides an easy-to-follow approach to health and wellness planning that supports a community-guided process that is grounded in values. The Guide represents and honours the voices of hundreds of First Nations Health Managers who have contributed to the content.

More importantly than simply being a requirement for funding, health and wellness planning is for you and your community to identify what you need. In that way, your programs and services will be purposely developed based on the needs of your community.

However, just creating a plan is not enough…the process you use can determine whether your plan will be most effective, or not.

Come explore, learn, share, and practice the key stages in the process of creating an effective Health and Wellness plan based on community values and engagement.

Register now for this workshop where you will leave with a copy of the Health and Wellness Planning Guide, valuable knowledge, and concrete tools to help guide you in developing your next Health and Wellness plan.
